No turbosim or other hardware fix...just a software unlock solution.<br /><br /><br /><br />My cousin just bought and sent me an 8gb iPhone (post $200 usd price cut of course, thank you your Steve-ness). Package arrived, and I spent some time following the most awesome <a href="http://modmyiphone.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_software_unlock_iPhone_iUnlock">tutorial</a> built around iUnlock, a freeware developed by the "Dev Team".<br /><br />It was relatively painless and I can only say this little machine that could, CAN.<br /><br />Some drawbacks:<br /><br />-Youtube doesn't work.<br />-I have an issue accessing the sync'd contacts on the iPhone<br />-exploring ways to get data running on my 3 2G network<br /><br />Everything else is great.<br /><br />If you've got it running or are interested in making it happen, I'd love to hear from you here!<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/2413255150594110948-7833169962575543693?l=hkiphone.blogspot.com'/></div>bigyamnoreply@blogger.com10
